edits:
*cloned out part of a stall window allowing the light in
*bumped up the black point
----->helped destroy background pixels for a smoother look
*bumped up the contrast
-----> helped destroy background/foreground pixels for a smoother look
*dodged the forelock in Photoshop CS3 to bring it out

As a horse lover I can respect everything it takes to actually capture an image as this. Horses represent strength, freedom, life. A symbol of grace and elegance. You have captured all in one shot, it makes me as a viewer feel empowered and emotional.
The sole use of one colour has allowed you to capture the natural grace of the horse without interrupting our other senses with unnecessary information.
I love the gentleness captured in the eye and the gracefull sweep of the back of the horse, the high white almost beckoning us to jump up for a wild ride. The tweaked ear listening to our advancement almost with anticipation.
Your photo has told a story, and I hope to see more.
